Was at Muar, Johor to meet up with my sister last weekend. One of the holiday plans I have. Well, found out that Muar is just like my own hometown in Miri, Sarawak. Even the food tasted almost the same. The only different is the driving practice that the people used there. Unethical drivers were everywhere. In such a small town and i don't really understand why are people rushing up and down on the road... Didn't took much picture though when I was there. Just realized when i am writing this entry.
But the thing I enjoyed the most there is the local delicacies. Hit down to Muar and walk down the streets for Otak-Otak which is some grilled seafood wrapped in leaf, get some local fried noodles and they are sure different and delicious than the ones i had tasted elsewhere in Malaysia. other than that, if you liked seafood, try the fried oyster and enjoy that aroma. and as for breakfast, of course the otak-otak buns.
anyway. thats all from Muar.

The holiday continues
The holiday continues with a meal at some pirate designed restaurant in Sunway Piramid. Have to say the food was nice so as the designs. Having my stomach filled, Joan and I went on for a picture frenzy, here is some shots of the wall art...
Anyway, on our way back to our apartment, we were shocked by the fire alarm from Taylor's College which is just beside our apartment. Had some chopper shots of the frantic in Taylor's

A holiday getaway at the nation capital - Kuala Lumpur.
This is the first day of shopping. In Mid Valley and going to The Gardens. With a plactic bag from Licci which isn't there in Mid Vallay or The Gardens. Inside the bag is some dancing pad that people used to play some dancing game. Beside me is my long termed girl friend, Joan. Well, we didn't actually went full force on the shopping side. We were there to have a little reunion with our school mates. Had a great time catching up and having lunch. Seems like everyone is grown up and well mature in many ways. Gonna miss you all when i have gone back to my small little island later. Anyway, hope to see you all during Christmas.
This is a random shot of the huge chess set at the Mid Valley. Guess they were borrowed from Goliath's home.
Dining sets too?

a view of my lovely school...
now probably my friends had been listening to my complaints about my college... and well this is a documentaries about its setting... just a part of it... not all... i will try to get a chopper view of the other side... jus wait and see... for now...
PART 1

the majestic field where we called it "Astaka".... whatever that means... (",)... anyway this was taken at mid day so there is no people around the track jogging and working out... if this is taken in the evening, then you can see ladies jogging around with their tits bouncing... haha... and of course boys showing off their latest jogging sneaks...

the view of the "sick" dorm... not exactly my dorm area but this is the poor lecturer's who had to suffer the problematic "insufficient water problem"... while on top of the stupid problem... the school is jus 1 mile away from the water source of the ISLAND... but oh well... its good to had those grown-ups suffer along so they know about our problems but... nothing-done....

actually was trying to take the mosque view... but then this is the best i could do from the tallest building in the school... well as you can see in the school the infrastructure of the school is top class... if only i could get hold of a car here... or better still drive my own car here to school.... haha... but that is pathetically impossible to do here, as it's against the school rules...

the car-park right till the main entrance... and also the Astaka I mentioned earlier... now this is a part of the walk I had to take before I endure the blazing sun, waiting for "mini-bus" to come and bring me downtown... anyway... there are guard at the entrance but expect only craps from them about the latest updates of the school "outting" rules...

this is the little pond just beside the tallest building... this is the part where students usually wait for the time for the lecturer to finally come back from their business... or celebrate a special occasion or just hang out... anyway i have never been there... haha... i prefer some place with food...
ok thts all for now...
ciao...

rushin' againts time
well the time of the year for every student is around the corner again... exams, created to evaluate how far a student has learnt in this one semester and how deep students had master the subjects... as for me, i just came back from a holiday in KL, sill finding sometime to adjust back to the tight schedules of revision and mastering every major subjects that i am taking... guess i don't have much time left for blogging and surfing the forums as well...
well other than i do have another think to worry about... my holidays are coming just after the exams as always but i still haven't buy my ferry ticket to get my arse down to Kota Kinabalu(KK) as my flight is due from KK - Miri... I am afraid that the tickets are all sold out...
hate doing things in the last minutes but i think its a norm in fellow malaysians... we tend to do things in the last minutes but rather most of the time we work better under the "last minutes" pressure...
anyway... to all tht is facing the exams...
ALL DA' BEST...

back to lala island
back to labuan today... Air Asia was delayed again for 20mins today although we all got into the flight earlier than expected... everything went well this morning... like always, a gruelling trip to the airport from KL, checked-in and help a new friend whom i only met in LCCT to check in his bag which it was over-weight for him, nice chap btw... then a boring nearly 2 hours wait at the airport, luckily there is KLIA WiFi to keep me occupied... and a sad sad good bye to the loved ones that is left behind, Joan... a little old boring last words and i went into the boarding... well i have to admit it was hard to me too... that's why i told you not to cry...
anyway, with those behind... i went into the boarding with my new friends... talked a little and get to know each other a little... but we didnt sit together inside the aircraft... didnt know why but i jus choose not to sit together... watch three other aircraft took off and three other land inside my aircraft and it was a beautiful sight... very rare to hav such chance...
well... as time goes by... i started to get a little tired... i took a cab back to my college... arrived and as i was walking towards my dorm... i realise: "i lost my phone!!!" and panically i rush back to the school gate with my another phone calling my lost phone... well couldnt find it... keep on calling my phone was the only way i've got... after a number of attempt... finally the cab driver, didnt manage to get his name btw... answered and with a friendly tone he arranged with me to give back my phone... about 2 hours later... my phone rang and he was at my school gate waiting for me to pick up my phone as he jus sent a customer nearby... and of course... now i have my phone back... lucky case ain't it?
well, the situation tells me something... first knowing the phone was gone... i lost hope of finding it back... in my mind was "its an expensive thing, who would give it up for free?"... i never thought my case would be so easy to solve... so i think next time i have to think positively and also dun give up trying... jus about anyway possible legally to get what i wan...
yea... long day today... tired... so i would pen off here...

everything has to be new...
OK... some comments said tht i should pump up my font size... comment nodded with thanks...
anyway... as you all know... i jus visited the entertainment hub of Malaysia... and stayed in bukit bintang area... a place where the malaysian's youngsters' fashion evolved... well... got frost bitten by the enviroment around me... and well went on to a shopping spree for cloths... Now that's a first one for me... as i was never a fashion cautious guy... rather a pair of denim and one t-shirts would jus be enough for me to go jus about anywhere... more than tht... one long-sleeved shirt would be jus fine...
ok... i pierced my ear... and bought RM70 worth of assorted lastest design earrings... not enough? a sut around RM120 for tht... and a shirt RM70... and a pair of denim, RM100... all these in jus one night... and well... the list goes further on the second night and i would wan to talk about it now... feeling regretful of the shopping spree... but oh well on the other hand, this is the first time i went for a shopping spree for my attire!!! and it feels great... dunno why... haha... looking forward for a trip like this again in fact...
anyway... ever heard your parents nagging at you about study now and next time the good life will come and you will enjoy life after your studies? well not true!!! after our study years, we will step into the marketplace working day in day out... for a living, after a few years.. you get married or have a family and you got your children plus your work to worry about... after your children are grown up, you got their college to fund and well there.. another worry comes... and after another few years,.. you got old and retire... ok... now you have a good length of time to hav fun and do things you always dreamt of... but well guess what.. you are too old for those activities you dreamt of now...
period... i think when you start to look at life tht way... its going to be miserable... productivity starts to go down... try to look at it from a different view... working life isn't so bad... you have annual holidays... good jobs pay you enough till the extend they will make a family vacation affordable for you... tht is jus one of the benefits you get... a lot more up in the chess... jus need to study now and work for the best...
well then to all tht are having exams soon... or struggling in their studies... keep up the good work... and good things will come... haha... just don't forget about me and friends...
cheers to all...
